 Welcome to Moss Canyon where you’ll find steep canyon walls covered in lush green ferns, a carpet of light, soft moss standing watch above a gurgling stream, and a wildflower-lined footpath running alongside. It’s a place we go to explore as often as we can.

But around here, a walk in the woods is never just a walk in the woods.

That’s the thing about Moss Canyon: you never know where any path will lead. 

Over the years, these trails have introduced us to characters from completely different worlds, genres, and eras, inspiring a wide-ranging collection of self-published books.

Here’s just a glimpse of what we've discovered down the path:

 Right by the gurgling stream is where we saw our first elf and his fairy friend. That magical encounter led us to write our whimsical tale, Appleby and Bee Bell's Curious Garden Adventure.

On another trail, we crossed paths with Bronco Bob, Cowboy Magician, and Loretta, his Cowgal Pal. They shared the thrilling, dusty tale of how they foiled a blackmail scheme that nearly ruined the Box Double Bar Flying Diamond W Ranch—a story we captured in our book, Ropin' the Wind.

Down a lesser-traveled side path, we met Thomas Watson, who kept us laughing for hours with his hilarious adventures navigating the wilds of both Africa and the prestigious Huntington Explorer’s Club.

One unexpected turn led us all the way to the Eternis Space Station, where we watched a mystery that took all of Captain Kirmo’s skill to unravel in a case of someone having Ideas.

And on the other end of that path we found Thud, a noir style private detective solving cases in the stone-age.

There are over twenty paths to choose from, ensuring something for everyone in the family.

So, grab a walking stick, pick a path, and let’s see where it takes us!
